Your question doesn't fully get to the point of what you're trying to say, but I'm assuming you are gay and are talking about the gay bashers who hide behind their interpretations of the Bible?
If that's it, here's my two cents worth. I'm a gay Christian. I believe in a loving God, one who commands me to love my neighbor. One who sent us his son, a great teacher, who never taught us to hate people for who they are. Christ was a very inclusive one, always finding the persons on the margins, those that his followers might not include, and bringing them IN, not out of the flock.
So I don't like to hear people who I feel bend the Bible to their own ends for the purpose of driving Gay people of faith away from God. Nowhere can they ever show me where it says in the Bible that you should frighten and anger people so that they will not love God. It's just not there!

Religion is always one of those great subjects to get people fighting. Many religions speak out against gay and lesbians especially western religions which have been modified so greatly from their original that they hold barely a smidgen of their original messages.
Christianity specifically speaks out in Deuteronomy 22.5
(The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.[king james]) about transvestites.
But on the other hand it goes on to tell you that your not allowed to wear clothing of two different fabrics at the same time like woolen and linen together so like so many parts of the bible we can say completely outdated. The bible speaks out against gay in one of the newest version I know in Leviticus 18.22
(You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. 23And you shall not lie with any animal and so make yourself unclean with it, neither shall any woman give herself to an animal to lie with it: it is perversion.[English Standard Version])
So now that I’ve gotten everyone pissed off let say I am a lesbian, but even as a child I was kicked out of churches. My parents who thought their children should discover religion on their own and who are themselves atheist never forbid me. Instead it was the Christians and the Catholics who kick me out all the time. They still do. Every once in a while I feel like I should need a little help and there defiantly isn’t a synagogue around me that is inspiring in architectural structure at all.
The simple reality is that while many aspects of the bible have been thrown away (look into the council of church around 500AD) some old relics of this very unpopular religion are still around today.
But I really don’t think its bad being the brunt of all these religious attacks. And let me clarify this statement; religious as in modern “we focus on what we want with understanding the reasoning” western religion that has decrees and hierarchy not the spirit or wording of the western religions.
I don’t want these people to like me. I want them to hate me! If these people like me then I have done something terribly wrong! I question their faith and I argue rationally with their own texts and historical texts. So obviously these people have more reason to hate me than my sexual preferences regardless of whether they know or not. In truth I have never spoken about the gay community in a church – I’ve never gotten that far.
But I understand the desire for many gays to be accepted into religion. To them I can only wish them luck understanding that the only real requirements for a Christian god to welcome you is your faith in him and your efforts to do good by him. So live a full and happy life where you are kind and generous and tell everyone else to stick it where it belongs, you do that a hundred times a day anyway.

I don't. But I make sure to not get ignorant...I like to research different religions so I have a better idea of what they portray. Not only that, I'm sure not to have a one-sided argument.
