Maybe I'm allergice to Nair, or maybe I just didn't do it right. I'm not sure which is the case. It burned like heck and it didn't remove the hair any better than shaving. It also didn't keep it away any longer than shaving. So for me, I prefer to shave. It's quicker (especially with the Intuition razor) and it's more convenient. Your'e supposed to let it sit for 3-5 minutes I think. In that time, you can't really do anything because you don't want to get it on anything or accidentally wipe it off. So you just end up standing there butt-naked waiting to rinse it. Then it actually takes just as much time to rinse it as it does to shave so you just wasted that time standing butt-naked when you could have washed your hair or whatever else in the shower. Just my opinion based on my experiences with Nair. Oh yeah, it also smells awful.

Waxing is best. Nair sucks, I have used it, the smell burned my nose and it irritated my skin. If you want to go that route try Veet, that stuff works ok, smell still sucks, but it's way better than nair.

I used Nair on my upper lip many years ago when I was 13 years old. It burned and left a permanent mark on my face. If I was older and wiser then, I would have sued them.

Depends on where you put it LOL seriously some people have had a bad reaction, I have seen people come in with their legs (and other areas) very swollen. Its best to try a small spot before you try any thing major. for some people it works better than shaving but it depends on your body chem and how fast your body grows hair

IT WORKS> it burns for some people. I think....the lighter you are. the more it will affect your senses.
BUT remember.....even if you can tolerate it...YOU CAN build an allergy and get scars from it. I suggest to use it when you have no time to shave or for vacationing. otherwise. it does work. it tingles for me. but it doesn't all the time. I HAVE normal skin. generally, there is no burning sensation. it just feels cold.

I just used it yesterday and had severe burning on my legs. It didn't burn until I used the tool provided to scrape off the hair. Then I tried to rinse it off without soap or rubbing, but it burned worse so I used soap and scrubbed to get the sh*t off. Now I have a nice red rash on my thighs. Use Veet.

It does work. I tried it once, and I was fine. Then I used a scented version, and it gave me the worst rash on my legs. OMG the memory of it hurts.
Test a small area as someone said, and be careful where you use it. :-)
