Think that their styles now a days are a "new invention" most of them came from the 80's, the denim skirts with the lace leggings, the hightop reeboks, the leg warmers and high heels, I mean come on, watch flash dance or fame, can anyone seriously explain to me why these people insist on its a "new trend:" when it has already been there done that?

I just hope boys stop wearing pants that are too big for them. If I see one more kid's underwear sticking over his pants, I'm going for the atomic wedgie.

Well everyone wants to think they are the first and only to invent fashion because it's cool to be the 1st. They don't know because they weren't born during that time. They only know what they see. Just go in your closet and pull out some of the old styles and they will see and learn.

it's not really a new style. it's just that a lot of people are getting into the retro vintage mod boho look now. i've always liked that look. it was probably some famous person who liked that kind of stuff too and everybody caught on. who knows.

Well, I think it is far better that they think they are a "NEW INVENTION" then a "OLD FASHIONED" one. Smile I would rather them think it was their idea then for them to look at me and say "Mom are those old fashioned? and "Did they have those back when you were a kid?" I loved those things when I was a kid so it is soo nice for them not only to come back but for my kids to be wearing them too!!!

Well I think it is because most teenagers don't listen to adults and to them this is a whole new world and they invented everything.
