Do you think people can be racist against white people?

I have heard it both ways and would like to know you opinion.

Anyone who has preconceived notions about any other section of society, is prejudiced, and if applied to those of a different color or nationality than themselves, can be considered racist under today's definitions.

However, the whole concept of race is wrong. There is only one race, and it is human. Genetically there are fewer differences between any two individuals of the human race than there are between any two chimpanzees in any troupe in the wild. There are fewer differences than found in two puppies born in the same litter with the same parent dogs.

It is a concept that was created by Europeans during colonization to allow them to justify invading and subjugating the 'native' peoples of those lands. Before then, if someone was of a different color, it never mattered, and they were accepted into the communities they settled in.

It is too bad that we still do not have this tolerance.

Yes there is racism against white people.

For instance when someone says that white people are racist. That is a raciest statement against the whites.

There are some neighbourhoods which you better not walk through if you are white.

They are. I live in a city of Los Angeles County, CA, and Latinos, Blacks, and Asians always stop and stare at me. They make all kinds jokes and comments about me. Back when I was in school was when it was the worse. I would be called Gringo, Cracker, Whitey, pale face, White Devil, you name it, and to make matters worse, my teeth were crooked, my hair was two different colors, I was tall and skinny, I had asthma, allergies, skin disorders (Eczema, Psoriasis, Dermatitis, and bad acne). I had it pretty bad.

definately, my husband is hispanic and he is always critisizing white people. i am white so i dont understand why did he marry me if he felt this way. oh well, yes there r people prejudice against whites.
