I want to have an idea what the Mexican culture is like. How are they with their families? In relationships? What traditions do they practice, etc? What are they really like? I've never been to the States that long enough to get to know anyone and have not had a Mexican for a friend. I'm just curious.

They are usually very involved with their families, family is very important in Latin countries. Unfortunately it is not unusual for a man to have more than one woman - even when they are married. The men can be violent towards their mates, but not all of them are that way. Alot of them are Catholics and follow the religious practices for the religion, but it is also mixed with some mysticism - like tarot cards, astrology and so forth. They enjoy have parties and they usually go until late. They have quite a few holidays they celebrate. Most of them enjoy hanging out with other people quite often.

The stereotypical mexican is engrossed in family relations. Weddings and 15th birthdays are a huge deal, and if your little cousin is having a birthday you must attend even if it means taking the day off at work and getting drunk.

(I'm not really racist, but if anyone says so....oh well)
