First of all, when you are about to unzip a file, see where it gets stored. Normally you will find a file in the C: that says UNZIPPED. Open this folder and see if a folder of the same name as the zipped file which you unzipped, is here. If so then open that folder.

Now, look at the files in the folder. Look for an icon. It looks just like the icons on your desktop. It appears like a symbol or picture. It is NOT the readme file, nor text document. It will not say FILE underneath it.

Double click with the left mouse button onto it. It will automatically bring up the Wizard program to install. You WILL know when you are installing that program.

If you have uncompressed the file and double clicked the file and nothing happens, then perhaps you do not have the application of the uncompressed file in order for it to run or executed. Is there an extension to the file? You may be able to determine what type of application based on the extension.
