Lived in Florida, its a nice place to visit but don't wanna live there. California is out of the question because I couldn't possibly deal with all the fakeness!

Most southern states will fit that bill ...
The pacific Northwest on the west side of the Cascade Mountain Range is a bit soggy, but it doesn't snow much, and the temps are moderate, and its nice in the summer and fall.

Arizona is lovely ... though "kinda" hot in the summer.
New Mexico is gorgeous, and in the mountainous areas the heat index is not so bad, and if you are low enough, you won't get much snow.

The southern states east of texas have high humidity in the summer that can be too much for many people.

Northern california is actually quite nice .... the Mt. Shasta area, around Redding, and on over to the coast. Very different culturally from the southern parts of california, and less rain than in Oregon and Washington.

We have the beachs like Florida...Gulf Shores and more homes are cheap buying or renting...snow comes ever 10 years or so down in L.A. ( Lower Alabama ) Casino's right now the road plenty to offer. Southern Hospitality.
