I delete questions if the answers are just horrible or unrelated. I just do not want to send them for a vote. If I do that I do not think I get points back but I do not care because I would rather not give a best answer for trash. If people are nice I will pick something. What happens with deletion to them and me with points?

No worries pals not deleting your question to this, just another one with irritating answers. I know the feeling after finding great links for people for a question, but these people were just doing exactly what I was asking them not to do. They did not answer the question. They got confused and did the same thing I was inquiring why messed up people did. I will reward it and try again. Thanks to you for the real answer and someone here will get 10pts there are real answers here. If they had just one polite one they would have gotten one too.

if u delete u r question then u will lose 5 points. the people who answered the question will get points. and if u r not satisfied with the answeres and wish to delete then u only lose u r 5 points and not the others

people get 2 points straight away once they answer it. but the only thing is that no one can get 10 points or you can't get 3 points for choosing a best answer. i'd rather choose something though and receive 3 points. it doesnt matter if the answer isnt that good. at least you made someone happy for giving them 10 points.

I think they still get their points, but it's annoying as hell when I take my time writing an in-depth answer that I took 15 minutes of my time to answer.... And I find out that the person deleted the question.

They keep the points. The number of times I've answered a question, usually thoughfully, and then the questioner deletes the question!
Aargh, it's enough to drive you insane.
