How does one prostitute Islam and become such an idiot? How do you get killing from a religion that is basically about peace?

Because of the way they interpret the texts of the Koran. The same can be said of fundamentalist Christians who read into the Bible what they want to see. Just look at the Crusades for one example.

I have great respect for Islam and many good friends in this community. But in today's context how come wherever there is trouble, especially terrorist involvement the source is the same. Be it Chechnya, Kashmir, Afganistan, Bali, WTC New York, London, Madrid......I could go on.....on......

it's about the their religion. islam is not about peace, but about jihad, the holy war. it means spreading the islam by force. the islamic people are very religious and their faith is very strong, as long as they die for it. we should learn from them something...
