I have a couple of guilty pleasures.

On the Jewish front, I really do enjoy Hava Nagila.

On the Christian front, I am actually a sucker for Little Drummer Boy and Carol of the Bells.

I love black gospel music of the fifities-- particularly the Soul Stirrers. And I enjoy religious music of other cultures -- Nusrat Fateh Ali Kahn, for instance. I tend not to think much about the religious content of the music-- and when I do, it does turn me off. Hard for anyone not to love Mahalia Jackson, Sam Cooke

"Christian rock" is annoying in some ways, but I still do enjoy Creed and other bands . . . rock lyrics are so filled with trite and trivial lyrics that it hardly seems fair to complain about religious lyrics (try listening to "stairway to heaven" and pretending tha the lyric is anything other than pretentious drivel).

I like all kinds. I love gospel music, with the big choirs that sing in different parts. And chanting is cool too, if I'm in the mood for it.

I like a lot of religious music, but some songs are simply annoying. They type I like are ones that would normally be sung by a choir (mainly because I use to be in choir). I also like gospel just because they really get into the song.

I like Everclear....they're a Christian Band but cool. Also, the monk chants thing is pretty cool too. This is old school but loved what Enigma did with the monk chants.

For the record I'm not a non-believer just a gnostic

Well, I'm not a non believer. I'm (get this)..Lol. I am an agnostic with traces of catholic. Catholics today don't normally agree with the pope. I don't but you've got to love the guy.

I LOOOOVE pipe organ music in a large cathedral.
It gives me chills. It bounces off the falls with a slight echo effect.

With the right pipe organ player behind the wheel, it can really be cathargic and mezmorizing.

All Music is Religious!

I'm not a christian, yet I believe in God in my own way. I just don't want the shackles of religion. However, I've always enjoyed sacred classical music and hymns. It's beautiful. The new stuff seems a little cultish and inane to me.

Once when I was drunk, I was trying to turn the volume up on my radio and I changed the station and liked what I was hearing so I listened for a bit more until I heard the commercial for the radio station. I found a new station right away.
