In 2 years I went from a size 9/11 to 14/16 and to be honest
I like myself now better. I like the novelty of losing weight but i like myself heavier to be completely honest
why you may ask?
I guess because people treat you differently. Like when you're thin and trying really hard to be pretty, people expect you to be perfect. They expect you to be shallow and self centered
But when you're heavy, people either ignore you, or try to see your "personality" (that you MUST have because you obviously don't care how you look)
People listen to you because they're not looking at your body
by not worrying about being "heavy" I'm being myself....and it's a great feel. I feel sexy, because I know I'm sexy. I'm not like the selfconcsious people who always have to check their make-up or get dressed right after sex.......I do have a low self-esteem......and I don't like my body, but I'm comfortable with my body....because it made me who I am
and not being fake... now that's SEXY

Well done!! Self confidence, not *********, but the pride and comfort with who you are, is the sexiest attribute in the world!! Be proud of who you are, not just how you look. And you seem to be a smart, learned girl. So continue to be happy with yourself !

I think you're right, to an extent. You tried hard to be pretty and when you do things like that, it does show through. Trying to be pretty doesn't come across well. Now that you're not trying to be pretty, you feel free to be yourself, who you are, and you're letting people see the real you, not the pretty face you were trying to put on for them.
I do think some people treat you differently depending on your weight. No matter what my weight has been (I've been as low as a 7 and as high as 14) there are people who never looked past my bra size and long hair. There are people who based my intelligence based on my weight. I also found that I'm less likely to be heard, paid attention to, or taken seriously the heavier I am.

Rock on my sista!
Nothing is sexier than self confidence...
I too have went from a size 8 to an 11 and at first I was a little unnerved, but now..I'm pretty content with myself...not worrying about weight, equals less stress, equals better ( sexier too ) person!

If you're happy with yourself, that's the biggest positive you can have.
My wife and I know a woman who is 6'1", 200+ pds in her forties that knows more about being sexy than women half her age and weight - because she's happy with herself, she comes across as desirable to those who meet her.

Wow. I admire you. That's awesome. Don't gain so much weight it hurts your health though, but as long as you're healthy and you're confident like this, that's awesome.
And i agree.
I wish i were that way, I'm the one who always checks my makeup and such, but your attitude is great. And keep it up.
You're beautiful.

I would still suggest that you loose a few pounds... but I love and commend your confidence level, I think it's great!
I am skinny and either way I really don't care about what people think about my look... They usually connect with me due to my personality.
