A basketball team is a business. They need to sell tickets to pay all these players' enormous salaries. After Katrina, the New Orleans economy went to $#!+. Who's thinking about buying tickets to a basketball game when they have no home? The tourists alone can't support it. Why do you think the Jazz left for Utah all those years ago? New Orleans will always be a football town.

I hope that Oklahoma City gets the Hornets because I don't believe New Orleans will be able to support them. Sorry... It's sad about the hurricane but this is buisness.

The Hornets will return to New Orleans. They were allowing them to play in O.C. for convenience. They didn't have to.
