Fear, ignorance and intolerance. The fear of ideas and ideologies that one doesn't agree with, The fear of someone who is different from us whether it be race or religion or sexual orientation or caste or whatever. This leads to one not wanting to know about the other leading to ignorance which then leads to intolerance. That causes hate.

That's a good question. I don't know what the reasons for people hating each other are, but we should all make an effort to get along. The world would be a lot peaceful that way.

Yes, we do all want basically the same thing. And that's the problem.

We all want the means and resources to lead a happy and pleasent life; instinctually, that usually means that a person wants to acrue as many resources as possible for themselves and/or their family. There is, however, a limited amount of resources on earth for everyone to have.

And so people fight over it.
On a large scale, pretenses like religion and ideology are used, and on a small scale, mental illnesses and petty jealousies sometimes enter into it. But, by and large, all conflicts are ultimately about resources and who controls them.

Ghandi said the same thing, that we all need love innately.
When you have one group saying the other group isnt human, and causing injustices, then you have the other group saying no we are the right ones and we are the best.

When mankind puts aside what makes us different and realizes we are all ONE! That is when we will all get along and live in peace and the war mongers will be out of business.

actually we can. but there are a lot of stupid AND over-sensitive people. for example, when someone says that can't play ball.. a stupid AND over-sensitive would get pissed off then go start everyone of the other party.

that example usually happens large-scaled in organizations, governments, countries, etc. don't believe me? check your news, most of the problems stated there MOST LIKELY are the result of these kinds of people.

hence, i think that we CAN get along.. IF these stupid and over-sensitive people learn to easen their feelings. it's hard to accept, but it's the truth.

in addition to my point, some people might flame me for stating my views like this. but i on the other hand would just be happy that people actually read what i wrote. : )

Yes, Rodney King. We all want the same thing. We can't get along because we are mad for power. Specifically, women are mad for love and protection, and men are mad for the hunt. When these get out of balance, we have all kinds of wars.

I think we are getting along reasonably preety well. Think of the years about 2000000, 200000, 20000, 2000 or even 200 years back. Anarchy was it not?

THERE IS NOTHING THAT PREVENTS US FROM GETTING ALONG WITH EACHOTHER. THE ONLY THING IS WE NEVER TRY FOR THAT.
IF EACH ONE TRY TO KNOW OTHER, ESPECIALLY PUTTING OURSELF IN OTHER PERSONS SHOES THEN WE WIL CERTAINLY UNDERSTAND THEM.
ONCE U UNDERSTAND THE BASIC NATURE THEN I AM VERY SURE WE CANT HATE THEM ATLEAST .
START TRYING . COMMUNICATE URSELF CLEARLY TO OTHERS ONE DAY U WIL KNOW U CANT HATE ANY ONE.
AFTER AL EACH ONE IS AS HUMAN AS U & I ARE . . . IF WE HATE SOMEBODY IT MEANS WE R HATING OURSELF .
WHEN THIS IDEA OF FEELING OTHERS AS THYSELF COMES TO MINDS OF PEOPLE WHATEVER MAY BE THE DIFFERENCE THEY HAVE CULTURALLY, ECONOMICALLY, POLITICALLY, SOCIALLY, ETC. . . . HATE NEVER COMES.
