My lower legs are both aching very badly. They have gotten so bad today. I can hardly walk. When I feel my leg with my hand, I can feel lumps. What do you think it could be?

Let me start by saying that if you suspect a blood clot, you need to seek treatment NOW! Clots can break loose and lead to far bigger issues, such as a pulmonary embolism.
Symptoms:
swellling
warm to touch in that area
tenderness or pain (pain would be in calf or thigh when walking or standing)
redness
Please note that other conditions have the same symptoms.
Danger signs:
sudden shortness of breath
fast heart beat
coughing up blood
chest pain (can increase with a deep breath)
These are possible signs of a pulmonary embolism...a blood clot that has broken loose and has entered an artery to the lung.

Depends were the clot is. The most common clot is in the leg. Common symptoms of a clot in the leg are: swelling of the leg, tenderness of the calf, tenderness of the inner thigh. It would be a very rare event to have clots in both legs.
A blood clot in the lung, often from a break away clot in the leg, often present with chest pain (often worse with breathing in) and shortness of breath.
Your symptoms do not sound like a blood clot. There is to little information to offer any other diagnosis.

Consult a physician and have your blood tested. Check whether you have vericose veins. Get well soon!
