Do they look at your marks for all four years? Grade 11? Grade 12?

Please say what state you are in, cause that matters.

I am looking for answers for Ontario, and US specifically, but if you don't have answers for those two places, then say how it is in your area.

They will look at your overall GPA from all 4 years. They are usually processing thousands of applications and they don't have time to be nit-picky about what your grades were in which grade. If they get down to the last few applications where they only have a few spots left and a dozen applicants all look the same, then maybe they'll take a closer look at your grades and reread your essays. That is pretty rare, though.

I am from Oregon and went to school in Idaho and Utah.

In the US they look at your GPA (grade point average) which is based on all four years of high school.

i go to school in texas and i know they look at your overall GPA first and then everything that is on your transcript from your 4 years in highschool. having a lot of extra curricular activities and a good admissions essay is going to help a LOT in getting in as well. good luck!
