Asian chicks are hot, but so are Hispanic chicks.
Oh, and white & black girls too.
I can't speak for girls liking any race or color guys. I guess it's a matter of personal preferrence.
I'm caucasion and my wife is Puerto Rican. Our daughter's fiancee is caucasion/philipino.
Who want to know, what's your background?

As generalizations based on the society that we live in and based on our nature as human beings:
A man has always held the power in a relationship. Men were the hunters and fighters and decision-makers, and women were the child-bearers. Consequently, a man may instinctively look for a submissive woman, and likewise a woman is conditioned to look for a strong man who will protect her. Asian culture, especially the female side, is much more submissive and conservative than American culture. The Asian woman fits the caucasian man's instinctive wants, and the Asian man does not suit the caucasian woman's.
Don't worry, it's not sexist, it's just analyzing the truth about cultures in the world today.

I think you mean east Asian, right? south Asian is another topic entirely. In America east Asian men are generally considered 'sexless.' I know that is insulting and ridiculous, but that is the reputation. They also have the rep of being really domineering and inconsiderate, oh, yes, and the double standard thing, too. (One set of rules for men's behaviour, and another, much more restrictive set of rules for women.) I have never been involved romantically with east Asian man. These are just things I have heard said. Whether they have any truth in them or not, obviously, someone believes it. I know for a fact that many of the east Asian women are not the docile, submissive sex kittens that the Caucasian men expect. My friends are Strong determined women. I can't believe they'd let some man dominate them. White guys: even in east Asia, times have changed It is 2006, not 1956. I hope all this is helpful
I will not comment on the 'size' issue because that's both silly and disgusting.

Good question. (Note that when I say American, I mean caucasian and black Americans, both groups seem to exhibit the behaviour you ask about) I'm going to guess that it has something to do with what American society says is desirable. Americans cling to this fantasy of petite submissive women. They also have this mistaken notion of Asian women being just that. Granted, many Asians are smaller in stature than many Americans, but then again, Americans are also one of the most obese people as well. The exotic factor is also at work here. Asians look different than Americans. Many people find exotic looks to be attractive. These factors combined can explain why so many American guys like asian girls. Oddly enough, asian women are not the submissive playthings that americans fantasise about. Many asian women are strong-willed. Also in many asian cultures, it is the woman that manages the household finances. The man earns the money, but the woman actually controls it.
But why is it that American girls don't like asian guys? This has to do with what American culture dictates as desirable. For the most part and up until recently, a masculine man was considered attractive. Hairyness, facial hair, large build, aggressive behaviour, these traits were considered masculine. These traits help determine which men were considered attractive to American women. Asians for the most part are not very hairy. Many asians have a smaller build, and are more reserved in emotional display. This can mean that they remain "cool" when others may freely express their anger (show aggressive behaviour). Coinciding with the smaller build is that many American women refuse to date men shorter than they are. This is due to the idealisation of petiteness being feminine and attractive. If the woman is bigger than the man, then she feels awkward, big and clumsy, not attractive. Asians are generally smaller in build. These factors combine to show why American women avoid dating Asian men.

I find all kinds of men attractive and some of the hottest guys I've seen are Asian. Could the people you know be dealing with cultural differences or assumptions based on misperceptions? I've known some guys that thought they should be the "boss" like their dads were and girls don't go for that much. I've also known caucasian guys that thought if they got together with an Asian girl she would be submissive; they were surprised indeed.

I've dated only Japanese and Chinese girls for years. Why do I like them? They treat men better than Occidental women do. The man is the boss to the traditional ones. I like black hair and brown eyes, and they have great legs, so I find them quite attractive. I never argue with the best ones. With what USA girl can I say the same in truth? I do not know for certain about the reverse situation, but it might be that Asian men are used to being the boss. You are wrong about size and urge, I find.

Ive never been with an Asian man, however I always thought Bruce and Brandon Lee were totally hot. Its a shame they are not still with us. Asian men are ok especially if they have a great personality.

That's a pretty broad, all encompassing statement. I doubt that it really applies to "all" Caucasian guys and gals or "all" Asian guys and gals.

I can tell you right now, that whole "Asian guys are smaller" thing is a myth.
