Leave it in your checked baggage and you'll be just fine. You'd be amazed at what you can haul internationally, just so long as it's in the belly of the plane.

I'm sure you could in checked baggage domestically. It should be fine internationally as well, but you may want to check the TSA website just in case.

Assuming you mean to travel on an airline in the U.S., then yes you can! If you want to bring a gun(say you were big-game hunting in Africa), then you can bring that too! Don't expect to put it in a carry-on bag though... :^)

Checked baggage is fine. I brought mine to Italy and Mongolia with no problems.

I think if it is carry on you cannot, but if you are checking it you should be OK.
