Not only do you and your husband raise her and feed her and do the things that good parents do you are also the disaplinarian. So she is always going to see you as the bad guy. She is at an age that anyone that tries to tell her what is best she is going to rebell against. Stand firm and always always always do what is best for her. She will grow up one day and when she does she will realise that you and your husband did what was right. I was the same way as a 16 year old except it was with my father. He did what I needed and my mother wasnt there for me a whole lot so I thought that life with her would be so much better. I thought that the sun rose and set with her and thought that she could do no harm. Now as an adult I see that she chose not to be a constant in my life whereas my father did everything for me. I know that it is hard right now but rest assured that the day will come that he shows his true colors.

Yep she sure will, dont stop doing what your doing.. right now shes thinking her dad is the best thing going because neither of them know each other well enough to actually have issues.. so they dont bump heads, if he started disciplining her , her outlook would change.. but he wont.. and she also is living the dream that if she thinks he's the greatest, then he'll become this great dream of a dad that she's holding on too.. trust me, i know been there done that.. when she becomes an adult.. and especially when she herself becomes a parent she's going to realize so much about herself, and about you.. and she's going to realize what all u did for her, and what all he didnt..
Just be patient and stay ur course..
Good Luck

She will find out the truth soon enough, at her age, she's being a rebel against you her parents. He, her dad, isn't there doing his duty and job. So who is she going to strike out againt> You guys, so it's typical teenage angst. She'll grow out of it, she has too, the truth, is just too obvious for her to ignore.
