I did during my first marriage. He was our neighbor, and both my ex and his wife were in the US Air Force. My husband had cheated on me the previous year and was still being verbally and emotionally abusive, and me and my neighbor, Steve, quickly became close. The "affair" involved mostly talk and one make out session but ended up being the end of my marriage because my husband, though he had cheated, moved out. We later got back together but he continued to be the same, cheated on me again, and I divorced him. The guy, Steve, stayed with his wife, and I assume they are still together. I was 22 and he was 24.

yes i did. my husband was mentally abusive... and then one night when i went out with my friends (my ex-husband wasn't possesive, his ego was to big to ever IMAGINE that i would be unfaithful) a man recognized me (i'm a realtor) and he asked me if i knew of a place he could rent... he went into great detail about how his landlord was getting a divorce and needed him to move out, so she could have her place back. i ended up renting a house that i owned to him... and one thing led to another. my ex-husband was just rude, mean, and full of himself... OH YEAH, and he thinks he knows EVERYTHING! he's a smart man, bookwise, but has no true common sense. i was just drawn to the other guys complete honesty and sensitivity... when i went to his house to fill out the rental apps he had his children's drawings hung EVERYWHERE instead of expensive art... or things more of a mans taste... he seemed so family oriented... and i really wanted that... so, my desire for "him" really started as a desire for a functional family with sensitive, loving individuals...
OH, i ended up marrying the guy after an ugly 3 year divorce! my new husband is still the same today as he was 6 years ago... loving and sensitive!

Mentally Abusive? God, you're a ******* pussy... I swear some of these people only say whatever abusive so they can get sympathy... Go kill yourself (person who answered above me) Nearly all of the population faces some form of abuse, and yours isn't any worse than theirs... No one cares...
**** you, I don't give a **** about you or what you're going through...
