I mean the show is really making me mad because it is so sad how rich people just blow money on dumb mess like this when there are millions of poor people who can't even afford a candle to put on a cupcake.
Have they ever shown and episode where there are regular kids that have regular lives and have a regular birthday party for their kids sweet 16th?

I understand exactly where you are coming from. It hurts me that they don't spend all that money a little wiser than they do. I mean I admit sometimes I get so mad when I think to myself that I will never get anything like that. I just had my 16th birhtday and it was nothing like any of that. I just don't get it. If you tried to get onto the parents about something like that, I bet they that they would claim that they just want what is best for their kids. I am so happy that I am a middle class person who wants to help all the people in the world that need clothes and food. I hope that they realize the point you made about people not even having a candle to put on a cupcake when they start to complian about not getting the car that they wanted or something. Just pray for them and hopefully they will get help!

Nope. All the kids on the show are rich,and sometimes their parties seem boring, or they don't really get to enjoy it. But they always get a huge gift mostly cars. But some of them had sweet 18's and 15's. Not all were sweet 16's like the show title. But it's about rich kids, that get to live out their ultimate party. But recently these two girls had a party and it raised money for some charity. But she bought jewlery worth about 4 luxury cars, but their party was to raise money for a charity.

I've been watching about the last four episodes, and it makes me mad - maybe more sad - as well. It's such a disgusting shame when they put on such a gross and crass display of wealth. What in the world is going to happen when these girls get married? Can you say Bridezilla? Actually, the parents are all to blame for all the mislaid priorities (even though twice I've seen charity collection areas in episodes). Some of these girls act worse than three-year-olds throwing tantrums. I don't want to know what they'll grow up like!

I hate the show too. I have a spin-off idea to the show. How about MTV sends the spolied rich brats to a ghetto or a trailer park and make them live their for a couple of months and make them give a sweet 16 to a poor girl.

I think they should!! But people find watching ridiculously spoiled rich brats with their parents wrapped around their little finger more interesting and entertaining I guess. Dang I hate it cause I watch that show and it sickens me how rude they are! They think they are the Sh*t because their parents spoil them with BMW's and spend thousands of dollars on them when in the end, money can't buy happiness. That's so obvious by the way they act.

Of course not cause that's not ratings television. But your statement about them being rich spoiled kids is an understatement. Not to outshocked though, i did catch the end of one of the shows, and the girls whose birtday it was raised 50K for charity. So hey there's a little silver lining there.

duh. It wouldnt be as fun to watch if it was just regular teenagers with boring sweet 16 parties. Also do you think those rich people care about the millions of poor people in the world? Their thoughts are what color is my next mercedes going to be or where their next vacation home is gonna be.

they give money to charity to write it off as a tax deduction i hope you are not that stupid to think there actually trying to do good for the community you got to be high. come on thats how rich people keep there money...... tax shelters....
