i'd really appreciate your help.
i met my friend Manu(male) a year ago in Europe, but i live in the US. we exchanged email addresses and emailed for about 6 months and everything was going great...but we weren't dating, we were just friends...and then i started having feelings for him, but i didn't tell him that. like i said, i thought everything was going great being friends and all, and then in January he stopped emailing me. the last email i recieved from him was very friendly and had no sign that he'd stop writing to me. i tried SEVERAL times emailing him from January until now, asking if everything was okay and how he's been. i have NOT recieved a reply from him.
but here's the part i don't get.we both have a friend named Luis and Luis wrote to Manu at the same times that i'd write to Manu. manu replied to HIS emails, but not mines...did i do something wrong? i have feelings for him (he doesn't know) but why is he ignoring me? should i try emailing him again?what should i do?

It can be very difficult for people to break away from their religion. In many parts fo the world, it can be a crime to marry outside of a faith.

I would suggest you read up on exactly what his religion says about marrying someone outside of his faith. Get as much information as possible. Especially in the area of marriage and courtship.

You sound like a very sincere and honest person who is simply trying to find answers about someone you care for very much. If that person cares for you, and hopefully, there is nothing wrong, health, accident, etc...he should respond, just out of courtesy, much less love.

Send to him as many e mails as you feel are necessary. Then slowly, very slowly, begin slacking off and backing off. He may miss your e mails and eventually respond to you.

In this particular case, I think the answer may be tied to his religion.

Good luck....

Manu has joined in Jihad. He is with 72 virgins now. Luis is trying to protect you that's all. All U can do now is hope that Manu's death was quick and perhaps the bunker-buster scored a direct hit on his home and vaporized or incinerated him, saving you the anguish of having to view his shattered little body.

I'm afraid he found someone else. He wants to be faithful to his girlfriend and that is the reason why he is not e-mailing you anymore. HEY try and get over this because things happen for a reason and if it wasn't meant to be then there is nothing you could of done to make it any different, and if it was meant to be then don't worry he'll come back. Good luck:)

There are many possibilities. Perhaps he has a girlfriend now and she does not want him corresponding with another female. perhaps he changed his e-mail account, is in jail, joined the militarty, moved, feels the same way about you and was scared off by it..... Move on and find someone else, it seems clear that he either can not or will not return your communications. lots more guys out there!
