By definition this issued by the Federal Gov. You can go on to the website below and find out. However, you may not need one if this is a small operation and you are starting out small, you are able to use you SSN. This is a better idea if you are concerned about tax issues. Good Luck with your business.

I'd suggest looking into all of the logistics of starting a business in your state -- in doing so, you're bound to run across the Federal requirements.

The best routes to take are to research the process of starting a business as well as the industry you're interested in.

I posted links for you in the source box pertaining to starting a business in your state.

Research, research, research – this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can. Here are some book titles that are relevant:

* How to Start a Business in Minnesota by Entrepreneur Press
* How To Incorporate and Start a Business in Minnesota by J. W. *****

Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

while you shaped your LLC what did making a decision to document as? sole owner, Corp, or Partnership as soon as you are making this election you do not difference it if you happen to elected to dossier as sole owner(and if that is so why could you move to the trouble and cost of setting up an LLC? it certainly isn't valued at, ultimately) sure, approximately 3 years in the past, finally those years of a sole owner being simply that, one man or woman, it's now alllowed to dossier 2 separate Sch C's for a husband and one for spouse, dividing the complete Sch C in part, submitting 2 SE's and so on
