AM Radio, downtown Detroit, there's a band playing some kind of bluesy rock. Someone I've never heard of.
San Francisco, later in the year. I asked the clerk at the record store who had the word "Credence" in their band's name. Voila!!
They were so new at the time that Detroit had just started listening to them. But I bought that album in San Francisco. It was blue.
"Suzy Q" was on it. Credence Clearwater Revival was better live than on their albums. There aren't too many bands that can really say they sounded better live. Oh, Bob Seger can say the same thing.

CCR is one of the forefathers of rock! They have an awesome sound and a great style, not to mention the unmistakable Voice of the one and only John Fogerty. A good question and a great band.

I sure do.
I always thought that if I had a baby (which we never did do) I would sing rock songs instead of the traditional lullaby songs. "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" was one I planned to sing as I rocked my children to sleep.

I love CCR and I can't believe they have never had a #1 hit I think that is crazy, but it happens I guess
