nothings is in the USB port. Is there any saving it? I've even tried it in another computer and gotten the same responce. Help!!!!!!!!

If it's doing the same thing on multiple computers, it's likely the drive.

Check with the manufacturer - if it's still under warranty, a lot of time they have tools that can recover the info on it when they repair replace it.

Some things you can try:

- use a different USB port
- try it on a PC that you're sure it's never been on
- go into Disk Management (under Administrative Tools) and see if it's listed there. Sometimes you have to change the drive letter if it's conflicting with another device.


However, it does appear that there is something wrong with the device itself, since it has had problems on more than one PC.
