My husband and I have kids and refer to each other as "mamma" and "daddy" to the kids and in front of the kids, but we don't use it as pet names for each other. I'm not comfortable using "mama" or "daddy" as a pet name or term of endearment. It gives a vibe of incest. I don't understand how some can say they call their partner "mamma" or "daddy" during sex. How can anyone get turned on by referring to their lover by their parents title???Anyway, no, I don't think it's wrong to reference your husband as daddy when you've got kids. But if it's just a sexual thing, you might consult a psychiatrist to see what kind of issues are going on.

It is your business what you call your husband. There could be many reasons why. Is it an affectionate term? Is he the daddy to your child(ren)? Do you have an incestual relationship or fantasize? The bottom line is no matter what people think, if it makes you both happy, do it.

A daddy to me is a person's biological father. saying something like, hey 'daddy' help me change the babys diaper or something like that seems o.k. but, no, i dont think its a BAD thing i guess. i have heard some people call their husbands 'daddy' during sex and the thought of that would make me barf.........

NO! and especially not if you have kids. My family does that all the time... I hear my cousin call her husband daddy when she makes reference of him to the kids.

yes i believe its wrong to call ur husband daddy...due to ancient times daddy was a name given to the men of our childrem. even in todays mordern society we quite follow that. when u say that word "daddy" somewhere in ur heart u might feel u are looking at him as a person who is gonna be protective to u towards needs apart from sexual. if husband word exsists use that. dont get ur husband to be ur dad. afterall ur dad is some special guy in all life who deserves that word only from u as u his her child. saying daddy makes u feel he is someone in the above criteria and not ur soulmate....think about it

Well that depends if he really is a daddy. if he is yes it is fine. But you have some twisted men if they aren't they may be offened yet with the way of the world most men get a power trip out of it

No it isn't. I called my ex-husband daddy and my sister calls her hubby dad. Actually, you can call your husband what you want, he's your husband :) As long as it don't bother him. Hope this helps.

Hi,

I would love to say,

No, it isn't. It's not wrong at all to call him daddy.
It sounds that you really respect him and you really love him in your life! Sounds so beautiful and nice to me.

By the way, I love E.Hemingway, his novels, and I call him big daddy. Marilyn Monroe is still alive in our hearts, she is here forever!

Cheers!

No, my daughter called her bf and then later on hubby "pa" and he called her "ma" from the get-go. now they have a child so occasionally it is still ma and pa, sometimes mommy or daddy. what terms of endearment you both decide on is acceptable as long as you both agree on it and the terms are not obscene or vulgar (at least in earshot of anyone else). Best wishes.
