I started today (not the first time) and my periods usually last 5-7 days. The problem is I'm leaving for Hawaii on Saturday and I don't want to be on it during that time. Is there anything I can do to speed it up or stop it?

Well, your first day is going to be spent in transit, so you can expect four days to pass before you have to worry.

My suggestion is to plan something non-aquatic for the first day and hope for the best. Pack some tampons (that's what my wife does every vacation).

After that, have a great time. Hopefully, you are going to one of the Islands with some great dive sites where you can enjoy the water. (Tip: If you are going to the Big Island, take a day to swim off the pier south of the Hard Rock. The dolphins follow the boats in, and it's your best oppurtunity to free swim with these creatures.)

Cry. Why does it always show up at times like that? I am always irregular. I was off of mine for almost 10 months. The day before I got married, guess what showed up. I'm sorry. I hope you have a good time anyway.

Nope not now.......

IF you had been on the pill you might have been able to hold it off another week but look at it this way....the worst of it is going to be over before you even leave...it won't be that bad!!!

Nothing you can do, just dont wear a bikin. Or if you do, wear one of those ones with the skirt like thing, dont let the lil string show either.

I find that drinking ALOT of alcohol (just one really good drunk night) usually shortens me by a day, as well as, using tampons at the end wraps it up a bit quicker.
