Currently, it is "THE GREAT ESCAPE" w/Steve McQueen, James Garner, Richard Attenborough, David McCallum...
It is so cool! I love True stories like this because it really happened-if it isn't true it isn't very cool because anyone can just make something up, it isn't amazing, someone just made it all up. But in this, it REALLY happened, people actually did do that! No one had to make it up or anything, it is real! I mean, the characters are mostly composites and the motorcycle part is made up, but otherwise it is totally true!! You should read the book that it is based on (by Paul Brickhill) it's even better than the movie, it's really awesome!
BTW my fav. character is David Mccallum as Ashley-Pitt "Dispersal", although McQueen's part (as Hilts the cooler king) is cool too. I like basicly all the characters alot though, except the Gestapo guys are disturbing.

Monster House was pretty good. So was X-3 and Cars. I didn't care a lot for the new Pirates movie. Blah...way too long, not enough decent acting and a muddled plot. Such a huge disappointment. So I'll have to go with Monster House.

I rented Old Boy and really enjoyed it. As far as movie theater movies are concerned, Nacho Libre was uber funny.

It may have been a rental, but Syriana. That was a good movie. As far as new releases, The Devil Wears Prada was good.

i have only seen two movies in the theaters this year. underworld: evolution back in January and pirates of the caribbean: dead man's chest just a few days ago.
pirates was pretty good. johnny depp was sexy in this movie. i usually think of him as a very talented, good looking actor. dang, he was gorgeous. i think it was because their was more substance to him.

Memoirs Of A Geisha; it was simply beautiful and an accurate representation of the book which is one of my favorites.
