The Bush cabal wanted the oil that belongs to the Middle East. He wanted to take down Iraq before 9/11. He knew there were no weapons of mass destruction there. And Saddam's government had no involvement with the events of 9/11.

His talk of freeing the Iraqis was a cover-up used when no weapons of mass destruction were found. Unfortunately, Saddam may have been evil, but he was not the worse tyrrant in the world. If our concern was ousting tyrrants, we could have started with Iran and North Korea, which are much more dangerous (unless the government is lying to us again!).

All we have done by "freeing" Iraq is breed more terrorists, and given them a playground to refine their techniques. The so-called democratic elections have brought to power Shi'ites who seek revenge on their Sunni neighbors. Who in American would be happy with the deaths of 100 innocent citizens each and every day? What we have created is hell on earth, and yet Bush only wants to "stay the course," regardless of how many people die, so he can get his hands on the Iraqi oil on behalf of Halliburton.

Not to mention the American soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for this mess, and the huge amount of money pouring into Iraq when our own infrastructure and economy are failing, and we face so many domestic problems.

the intel was wrong, but at the time, based on the best intelligence network in the world, in a report compiled by a man who owed his entire political career to the democratic party, Saddam seemed to be working on varios Weapons of Mass Destruction, there also appeared to be links between various terrorist organizations and some members of the iraqi government. since the best intel at the time seemed to all point in a rather frightening direction, removing the leader seemed to be a good idea, i still think that in the long run iraq will be a better place without a dictatorship. whenever you say what you believe to be the truth based on your best efforts to figure out what that might be it is not a lie, even if it turns out later, based on new info that you could not have received, that what you said was wrong.

Bush and Company really did think that major combat was over when he made his Mission Accomplished Speech on the deck of the Air Craft Carrier, but he was wrong. That incident shows better than any other individual incident just how wrong Bush and Company were about the reality of invading Iraq.
Bush and Company were like a new Chess player so confident in their chutzpa that they took on a winked old broken down player that has played poor chess most of his life, but who knows the basic moves and some strategy of Chess. And Bush and Company bets all his money and our money on the outcome of the game. And he was wrong.
In reality, I pictured chemical attacks on our troops who would have insufficient protection and die horrible deaths a few miles inside Iraq, but I wrong. It was worse than that.
The motives were grandiose. Big juicy grand ideas about glory and righteousness. Bush probably imaged himself with a sword in hand plunging it into the chest of Saddam himself. Bush riding down Pennsylvania street waving to millions of people.
FDR, Truman, JFK, LBJ, Carter an Clinton laying across the hood of his massive Humvee on display and in disgrace with the humble and beaming Bush smiling out of his Howdy Dody face feeling completely worthy of all of the praise flowing from the millions of voices.
Bush was wrong, and Bush is still wrong, and Bush will always be wrong about the Iraq War.

It was only to remove a hurdle for Israel and for them ,he threw his own armed forces into the fire.He is a fool friend who is worse than a wise enemy. He has humiliated the whole American nation and has made them the most hated nation in the world. The world had a lot of sympathies with Americans after 9/11 a0nd now the situation has changed .Even its closet allies in NATO and EU detest him for his arrogance and jumpy habits. The early he is removed the better would be for America.

The Bush administration with neo-conservative support took us into the Iraq for one reason; oil. We are dependent upon it.

Not oil, not WMD's, not terrorists, perhaps Bush actually thought it was going to be easy and it would'nt hurt to have a friendly government in the middle east. I could'nt tell ya
