Because you can kill yourself by drinking too much water. There have been several cases of this happening.
Problem is, people give the same amount of water to everyone (usually) and a guy who is 6'4'' 220 lbs can take in more water than a guy who is 5'4'' 140 lbs.

Hazing anyone is wrong and very dangerous. How many lives have to be lost before anyone understands it is not worth it...Those who participate in the hazing can be charged if anyone is harmed or killed. It is very immature
and needless to have anything like hazing.

it is called water toxicity or poisoning. The body can't process all that water that fast, fluid builds up, the person can die! All their electrolytes--sodium, potassium etc. get flushed away from the body. The heart and other organs can't survive without these.

because you don't have to be in the water to drowned if your lungs get fluid in them you suffocate... thats why they cough when they're drinking it, also ruptures from over drinking... the stomach can tear and bleed if over filled...
mother nature does not make pain for laffs... it means that something is wrong and if you don't stop it will kill you...
