Runaround Sue - Dion and the Belmonts

Well, Brainstorm, I think Under the Boardwalk is an all-time great. I didn't really think of it as doo wop, although the Drifters are a doo wop group. But if it is, then it's number 1 on my list.

Have You Heard by the Duprees
Lil Darlin by the Diamonds
In the Still of the Night by the Five Satins
Since I Don't Have You by the Skyliners
Remember Then by the Earls
Just a few I could think of right now.
How could I forget my favorite Doo Wop song Under the Boardwalk by the Drifters

Actually, one of the very best doo-wop songs came from the 80's, not the 60's. It's Billy Joel's "The Longest Time," from the "An Innocent Man" album, I believe. Here's a link to a greatest hits package of his being sold on Amazon - listen to the sample track of this song. When you're listening to it, realize that Billy Joel did ALL the vocal parts on the song. All of them. It's simply an amazing example of doo-wop music. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00005OSX8/104-2100506-1196753?v=glance&n=5174
