Cheer up now, as there is a way to make it stick for little longer.
If you use a damp eye shadow brush and apply a layer of face powder to your lids and allow it setting, the shadow will stay in place for the day.

Foundation then powder, then eye shadow. I've heard the new lines of pure pigment colors seem to last a bit longer.

I totally understand your dilema though. I too have a hard time keeping shadow on my lids as well. It's as though my eye lids actually eat the stuff!!

Use mineral eye shadow. It won't crease or use mac shadow paint. It is great and affordable.

my eyeshadow lasts all day. I get my eye shadows from MAC. what i do is put on this stuff called eyepaint on first over your entire eyelid. then apply your eyeshadow over it. it lasts all day and does not feel heavy.

hmm...fret not...im sure theres some ans...

do you have oily skin dear? or shall i say oily lids?....

if so...apply a concealer on ur undereye, do extend it to your lids. Pat it lightly with the tip of your fingers so its able to set and blend with your skin temperature thus when you apply eyeshadow be it matt, shimmery or cream its able to last longer and less reapplication. Also its best to apply eyeshadows with the tip of ur fingertips....

No harm trying...
