now he is with me, she wants to try again. they have a child, is it worth it? for them? for me?

Some one has to step back and see the big picture. It sounds like you are going to be the mature one. They have a child and he has tried three times to make it work. What makes you think they will stop there? I think you are wise enough to see that there could be big problems down the road. You may want to consider this a bad match for you and move on.
