I lived in Okinawa when some stupid military guys decided to rape some little girl. So the Japanese had this HUGE protest and they had to close all the gates to the base and we were stuck for a couple of days. My brother and I went to the fence to watch all the protesters and they didn't like that very much. LOL. I think they were yelling profane things at us but I don't speak japanese so it didn't really matter.
Now I live in Germany and there are bomb threats every week. I wish these people would give it a damn rest. Getting evacuated from your apartment at 3 in the morining, with a 4 month old, when it's 25 degrees outside is NO FUN!

I've been to Nigeria twice. While Nigeria isn't hostile towards Americans in some ways, when you're a white American, you become an easy target for armed robbery, which happens there a lot even to Nigerians. The first time I went, I was robbed at gunpoint 3 days before I left.

Yes, visited the city of Belfast, Northern Ireland on July 14.
Hostile place, hostile date.
I got stopped by a guard carrying a machine gun at two checkpoints. It was good to have an American accent.
There was a parade going on. I decided to skip the parade.
