Don't know how old you are, what your skills are, what kind of work you are looking for. Um.......
If you're a bit younger, check out Americorp...they have great skill building jobs available. Other than that, check at your local college, they have job kiosks, and even career counseling if you ask for it. Craigslist is another great site for local jobs, but again, not really sure what it is you are needing. Best wishes!

first get into ur interested
if u like cook, look for cooking job
high paying jobs are working in a car factory
i heard paying is really good but hard to get in
try to look at hotel
like janitor, pay is ok i think
if u are a teenager looking for part time
there is not much choice but go to fastfood restaurent
u will get a job 100%
waiter is good pay job too
go to human resource centre, they can help u out too

go on craigslist. that's a pretty cool site to check out. almost like classified ads, and once in a while some pretty funny posts will cross your path.
