Arbonne.
I have used their products since '93. And, for the record, my grandmother has sold Mary kay all my life... so I'm deeply familiar with both.
I'm not out to say one is better than the other. All I know is what caused me to fall in love with Arbonne products... and it's stated in their company slogan: pure, safe, beneficial. They will not sell a product unless it meets all three of those standards.
I am SUPER finicky about what I eat/take in to my body... so why shouldn't I be finicky about what I PUT ON to my body? The skin absorbs stuff and assimilates it within 30 seconds. I want to use products that have ingredients that my body can use to help stay healthy and run efficiently.
Nowadays, more and more companies use stuff that isn't necessarily safe for us. Why do so many companies have to test on animals? Because they know that certain ingredients in their products could potentially harm a human in some way (until they get the ratios right). Even then, even though the ingredient has been decreased or altered enough to make it tolerable to humans, the fact is that it's STILL there... and your body will still have to work to eliminate it.
When I start reading ingredient lists that have things like "mineral oil" (which is refined crude oil), any type of "urea" (which is the protein found in mammalian urine), "Collagen/Lecithin/Salicic Acid" (all animal by-products, from rendered fat of euthenized animals and slaughtered meat house animals that were pumped with anit-biotics...) I run the other way.
Read "Drop Dead Gorgeous" for a real eye-opener regarding the Beauty industry and what our government DOESN'T do to protect us as consumers.
Anyway, so I'm not saying that Mary Kay is poison, okay? I'm just saying that I KNOW that Arbonne is made of botanically based ingredients. They do not use mineral oil, they don't use chemical fragrances or dyes (which are key causes of allergic reactions), they don't use animal by-products... that makes ME feel great about their products.
And they've stuck to their standards for the entire time I'VE known them... so that makes me feel even better about them.
Good luck with your decision.

Arbonne is definitely better than Mary Kay. I've used both; I actually switched from Mary Kay to Arbonne. Arbonne uses all-natural ingredients and they work like magic! I haven't had any break-outs or anything of the like since I started using the products 2 years ago, whereas, I was having some serious problems with Mary Kay. They are not cheap products (as someone mentioned earlier), they are all-natural products and very safe.
They may seem pricey, but they last FOREVER!

My choice is Arbonne. I've used them for over 10 years. I have been a wholesale client for most of that time. You get the products at a 35-80% discount. They are shipped directly to my house. I order them online in my pj's at 2:00 a.m. Let me know if you want any more information on being a wholesale client.
Get samples from both companies. For me the difference was huge. My neighbor was a Mary Kay rep when I started with Arbonne. Mary Kay, at the time, I don't know about now, had mineral oil and perfume in their skin care line. I have friends who love Mary Kay and aren't interested in an Arbonne sample because they are happy. That's ok. I have sensitive skin and I had a skin reaction from Mary Kay.

Mary Kay, Great Products (not cheap) and Great Company! They stand behind their products 100% and if you are not satisfied, there is a full money back refund or product replacement! Try them both first before taking anyones advice, everyone's skin is different! Good Luck!
