I think it will be great if both husband & wife cooks together, this is one of the quality time for bonding between the couple. One can prepare the ingredient and the other can cook and vice versa. Both can sit down and discuss over new receipes over the weekend, it can certainly improve the relationship for both of them. So i think it doesn't really matter if the husband should be better at cooking than the wife, both can definitely pick up from one another along the way. That's killing more than 2 birds with one stone ? :)

If you're asking I wouldn't be eating. Cooking is a shared responsibility. If he's hungry and you don't feel like cooking he will learn and with time and the oh so great imagination men have when it comes to food you will I hope be astounded. (Men don't go by the rules of cooking because they don't know them, therefore imagination rocks with no fear, a little of this a little of that voila a masterpiece!)
