I know this movie came out "back in the day" but tell me what you thought of it. I still havent seen it.

See it!! I saw it about 2 weeks ago for the first time. It is a little...sappy...at some parts, but all in all GOOD movie. Has a few twists, a lot of suspense, and Kevin Costner plays the "sexy/sharphooting-quiet/loner-reluctantly-falling-for-you" role very well. I was dying to see more of him after watcing this film. Of course, he's much older looking in the newer films.... Seriously, watch the movie and tell yourself not to think about whitney's ridiculous stage outfits or the few over-the-top professions of feelings and you'll be fine =p

Besides it being the best movie role Whitney Houston ever had she also does her best singing in this movie. I really think you should rent it and watch it. I recommend it highly.

Laughable. Whitney playing a famous singer...ooohhh, such a stretch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And somebody should tell Costner you DON'T close your eyes when you're firing a gun at a person!!
Sorry, I hated the movie, obviously

I slept through it.
Costner is sooo boring, but he works better than prescription when I need to sleep. Haha

I agree with "icantstandit's" sentiments. It was lovey-dovey and sappy. I think the only thing that even made me and others see it was the song Whitney sang for it. You know..."I Will Always Love You."

Its still good. A little bit lame coz it was made a while ago.... i liked it though. Has THE most awesome soundtrack.
