if there was only one poppa smurf for all the smurfs and smurfette as well, isnt' it kind of wierd they were always trying to bring her flowers and stuff??? i was just a kid when that show was on and even i knew that was ****** up.

They may have been blue but that doesn't mean they are stupid.
You have only one store in town that is where you are going shopping.
There was only one Smurfette and she was created by Papa Smurf's magic. Prior to that, nothing but Smurfs. Can you blame them if they wanted something new?

well I guess if she was only one female in a village of all males you do the math But if my memory serves me correct Smurfette was a creation of Gargamale and she was evil at first until papa smurf changed her to nice

Brock_C has hit this one on the head!! She was not "technically" related since she was created by Gargamele, but in the grand scheme of things that is kind of creepy. Maybe the true point was to be more respectful towards women?
