Boric Acid...comes in a powder form. Spread it around behind frig, stove, back of cabinets, closets or anywhere out of sight. It's fairly safe unless you ingest it & no fumes or odors you get with a spray. The roaches get it on their feet then it ends up in their stomaches which swell & they die. Also they carry it back to their nests so the babies die also.

Aside from a professional, a voodoo queen, and a lot of luck? Pray. Maybe get a cat. Move. Roaches suck. My nieghbor and my Aunt had them and in Alabama, once you got them, you might as well give them names and tuck them in at night. Hire the professionals. It's worth the money. I know someone who had lost their job (not related to their roach problem) so they had all this time on their hands, right? So, they pulled all their pots and pans out of their cabinets every day, washed everything, sprayed all these chemicals, and the roaches went away for like, a week. They came right back.
If you live in an apartment and your neighbor has roaches, you might as well move. And guess what? You're going to take the problem with you. I feel for you, dude. Good luck with everything. Suck it up and get out the checkbook. This is going to hurt.

Clean dishes every night. Do not leave any dirty dishes in the sink. Mop the kitchen floor every time you cook. Place combat (poison for roaches) all over the house. Any congested areas with a bunch of trash like clothes or paper sitting in a pile, clear it up because roaches lay their eggs there.

Boric acid is great. Also put drain cleaner in drains and plug them. Crunching noise will tell you if the bugs are in there. Sometimes they come in through the sewers.
We had water beatles, which look to me like roaches.
It took a couple of weeks or so but they were gone.
Cheap, easy, non-toxic. Put it especially around any sources of water, leaks or condensation. Under the cabinets, across doorways under the threshold.
On another topic, some types of ants like corn meal and it acts similarly to the boric acid. Plus, they take it home to the queen ant.

Stomp on them..That will get rid of them..Temporarily that is. Maybe the roaches are way to smart. Maybe hire a bug killing company or buy some of that and put it around your house. Hope that may help.

a cheap and easy way to rid house of insects is the pennyroyal plant. They sell em at home depot and you may find it dried at any whole herb store. just sprinkle it under the sink, behind fridge and any where they have been hiding. you can also make a tea with it and spray around corners, walls, and any holes in walls like where a gas line may enter your home. Just remember pregnant people or animals should not come in contact with this herb.also no paper, card board, bags ,or rags laying around this attracts them.

Get rid of any cardboard boxes. Cardboard is a place where roaches lay eggs and the cardboard protects them from the bug sprays.

Get rid of any plastic grocery bags you might be saving. many people have a drawer or a cabinet with tons of bags. This is the perfect breeding ground for roaches.

Boric acid is the best even if your neighbors have them. Remember if you find any that are dead don't just throw them in the trash because their eggs will still hatch. You have to get rid of them completely by flushing them or sweeping them up and throwing them far away from your home:)
