Suppose it depends on where you are, but there are none in the USA, and that sucks.

There are in the UK. They are 'Summer Bank Holiday' and 'Late Summer Bank Holiday'. These are both Mondays, so we get two long weekends, one in the first full week of August and one in the last.

There are no national holidays in the US in August. Canada has one (Civic Holiday) that gives them a long weekend.
