There are a lot of ways to approach the question, and there are lots of factors to consider skin tone, hair color, etc. And blue eyes can be tricky, since they have such a huge range of natural colors (from pale and icy to soft and sky blue)

Here's a trick I've used over the years: If you want soft, neutral looks, use colors from near your primary eye color on the "color wheel" (for those of you not familiar with the term, it's a kind of rainbow in a cricle, with the colors arranged in a six-spoked wheel [clockwise, red orange yellow green blue violet, in such a way that red is across from green, and so forth] neigbhoring colors create a subtle effect: blue could go to either violets or greens (depending on your skin tone).

But for drama go opposite your color to pick up a highlight color - in this case from the orange/gold families. Bronzes with a dark liner could really be great for evening.

And here's another color planning trick: Nature has given most people irises (the colored part of the eye) with a primary color and a highlight color. Thus many green eyed folks have a hint of bronze, yellow, or brown as their highlight. Blue eyed people might see some very dark violet, for example. If you want something that will be easy and flattering and eyecatching, wash the lid softly with a color close to your primary iris color and use your iris highlight color to shape and add drama - you can't go wrong that way.

And take the time to experiment with brands that last for you - there's nothing worse than color that just won't go the distance - that doesn't necessarily mean expensive, but you'll know when you find the right product, because even a little with look great for hours without retouching - and that formulation depends on your skin type and personal preference

maybe a light yellow/gold color? Almay has a eyeshadow kit for difffernt colored eyes. I remember seeing the one for blue eyes and it showed a pale yello color a light blue and a dark blue, you just need to put them int he right spot to bring out your eyes. I have the kit for hazel and its a light gold color, pink and abrown color, they work pretty well to bring out your eyes more maybe you should try some =) Hope it helps. Oh! cover girl has a "make up consultant" on their webpage you just put in all of your information and it picks out all the shades that would be right for your eyes, skin tone ect

Use a dark blue, baby blue, or a copper bronze brown color on your lids to make your eyes really pop. Also, brown eyeliner will bring them out really well

well if u want to do it in one two three...put eye liner on the inside not the outside of your eye and put mascara..it'll look georgeous..but you can add blue eyeshadow..but not too dark..and you can sparkle it you if you want...it matters what your wearing..if your wearing pink you won't wear blue eyeshadow..just stick to the eyeline and mascara its easy and it matches everything..

darker colors, like grey or dark brown with some sparkle or shimmer in it....

Just make sure that you combine 2 colors light and dark towards the outer end of your eyes. Like bronz and brown, or gold and another darker color...

The look of an eye shadow would also depend on your skin color not just your eye color, so please take that into account!
