only a few days give it four or five, she needs to ice the bruises on a regular basis though

I was always told that if the injury is red (like hot) you should apply ice (to take down the inflammation) and that if the injury is blue/purple (like cool) you should apply heat to help increase circulation to break up the coagulated blood that's there.....

I don't know if that's TRUE, but that's what I've been taught over the years.

And the length of time that it takes for stuff like that to go away is different from person to person... if your friend is anemic or has other health issues, it could take WAY longer. For instance, I have a bruise that I got a week ago.... and it's just barely fading now. On the other hand, I cut my finger about three days ago (badly, on my food processor blade) and it's already scabbed over, with the scab starting to come off....

So, I guess my point is that it varies... you're friend's gonna heal at her body's own sweet pace.

It depends on the extent of the injury... If it's just a bruise then probably a week. If it took an ear off or something I don't think she'll be able to hide it.

If Marsha Brady can go on a date with Charlie after being hit on the nose by a football, you can go on your date.

It depends on what injury's she got from the ball. If it is just swelling I would use Ice packs allot. If it it some sort of cut I have no idea. Good luck.

Tell her to go the way she is, if he can't see past that then he aint worth it...or is she already ugly and the baseball made her uglier?

If you mean that she has a bruise, I don't think she can make that go away any faster. Maybe she can reschedule or use some corrective makeup.

well it depends on how well she takes care of it, where it is and how hard the impact was. if its getting better she can just cover it up with a little make up in her skin tone and if its possible cover it up with her hair... dunno unless i know where it is
