I just got my IPOD and I set up my playlist on iTunes. When I hook up the iPod to my computer, on the screen of the iPod, is it supposed to say "Do not disconnect?" It's been like that for a few minutes and I dont know what it's doing. Can I get some real help? Thanks!

Its normal. Just make sure you eject the ipod before unplugging the usb. Until you eject your ipod the screen will say do not disconnect. Your ipod is currently running with your computer until you eject it by using the the eject icon next to the ipod picture.

when you first set it up, you are supposed to charge it foer 4 hrs or til you see the plug sign, instead of of the lighting sign. DON'T unplug the ipod when it says do not disconnect, that can damage your files. That means Itunes is updating your Ipod, downloading songs. just wait it will go away when it's done. The link below will help, it very helpful
