very narcissistic, like a gay guy, cares about his looks, likes shopping, fashion, being pampered, spas, massages etc, BUT goes to bed with women and not men.

A POPPED COLLAR. Also colorful belts or just expensive clothing in general. Any guy who repeatedly is thought to be gay even by gay guys is metrosexual.

I really don't like that term. When I lived in Europe for two years, that would describe ALL the European men. Why is it when men that take care of themselves are considered gay??? Just because american men can be slobs, is being a slob a sign of your sexual prefernce? So does that make him more of a 'man' because he can't match his shirt to his pants?
Who cares what others think... just be you...

it's an excess of grooming. metrosexuals get manicures, pedicures, eyebrows waxed, facials...everything that a female would do...and still be straight.

i guess it like a guy that is gurly but isnt gay u know? so the things u just mentioned are purrdy metro along with wearing tight shirts and faded and torn jeans and stuff like that, i actually like metro guys but not all of them, my bf isnt metro n hes great.

i consider myself metro, because i really care about my appearance. i gel my hair, pluck my eyebrows, and make sure i smell good. a metro is pretty much a feminine guy but isn't gay
