Assuming "thesum of my number" means the sum of the digits of your number and "rounded up to the 10th or 100th or 1000th" means rounding to the nearest ten, hundred or thousand (calling it a tenth or hundredth etc. means it's smaller than one) then your number is 1999. Rounded to the nearest 10, hundred or 1000 still gets you 2000 and the sum of the digits is 28.

Also, saying "rounded up" is redundant, because properly rounding that number would cause it to go up anyway.

3x+y=28
x, y are integers greater than or equal to zero, less than or equal to nine.

Viable options include
y = 1 x = 9
y = 4 x = 8
y = 7 x = 7

which yield potential digit strings of
9991 9919 9199 1999
8884 8848 8488 4888
7777

Your number has to be one of those.
Im guessing that your number is either 7777 or 1999.

1.999 would be the most probable answer since the rounding off and similar digits fit the question perfectly.

curly bag it right... with her formula 3x+y = 28

kudos girl.... however you forgot about the decimal places... and 7777 is incorrect 'coz only 3 digits are alike....

just place them bro... and still, curly's answer would be the most accurate one.
