Everyone says that I have a great singing voice... I think it's okay...not bad. but when I record it on my comp or cell it just sounds AWFUL! I don't think I sound like that... does anyone else have this prob?

this is totally normal because we are so used to hearing our voices come straight through our mouths and not through a machine and thats why it sound a lot different thatn we think it should sound like.... listen to a friends voice on a mchine and it probaly sounds the sam as without a machine, but probably not to her

Yeah your voice sounds different because your ears are hearing it from a different point. If your voice sounds bad on the computer then its probably how your voice really sounds. sorry. I've done that before and my voice doesn't sound too bad, but I'm not gonna audition for american idol any time soon.

yea its true you always sound different. even when you recored your voice mail or answering machine message. but if you ever try and record on something with better quality like in a studio or a program specificly for recording singing youll most likely like it alot better. dont let it discourage you. if you like to sing, try as many ways possible to make it sound good.

Yes, it does to me. Some of us do think our recorded voice sounds terrible.

With just talking in general. I hate the sound of my own voice and it scares me.

i do i just sing 4 fun but when i redord myself on the computer i sound like a little kid dont noe y

It does that to every one. Its just a machine that lets you hear what everyone else hears

you need a better recording or media recording program
