no friends,just alone?

nah that's not weird...ok well maybe a little bit. But if you can't get someone to go with you then go alone! You can spend your time dancing and having fun rather than worrying about your friends and if they're having a good time.

Depends on the country and the circumstances. I went to a club alone in Italy because everyone else on the ship wanted to go get drunk or something similar, and I preferred to find a more positive atmosphere, and maybe dance with some ladies. Once I watched what was happening, and tried to fit in, a couple of the Italian guys came up to talk to me. They knew I was an American, so they weren't offended at my terrible Italian, and I was pleased that they spoke some English. So we got along, and a couple of them introduced me to their sisters. Hey, I got to dance with Italian women ! I figure it was a worthwhile deal !
Is that weird ? Well, if it is, I'm glad I'm weird. I got to remember what I did on liberty, and I didn't have a hangover the next day.

It's only wierd if you don't plan on meeting anybody at the club. If you go there, for exxample, and then sit alone on a couch and play your Gameboy, then it's really wierd. But if you start dancing with somebody, it'll be perfectly normal.

I have done it. Of course it is more fun with friends, but I met a girl that I dated for about a year (I should mention that she was a sex maniac!) when I went alone...so you never know!!

I don't think so. It's easier to meet people when you're not concerned about the people that you arrived with. As long as you have a ride if you drink too much, it's all good.
