I need improve my accent as well would like speak like Texan.By the way I am from JAMAICA.I have been here for two years.

COME ON!!!! I am not trying to change my identity am talking about language ,I am talking about communication's can I communicate easily with any one who has Texan accent?What do I have to do ?That is my question.

I'm a Texan ( born & raised), we have a distinct accent but there is nothing too special about our dialect. I've found that the more you converse or mimic people with the accent or fluency you want, you tend to pick it up naturally. Hope that helps. sorry i misunderstood your question the first time.

Big mistake. I like a southern accent as much as anyone. But there's something disarming about that island accent I think its great. Don't change who you are.

do practice without hesitation. Mistakes are possible but you can learn any thing after doing mistakes only.
