Can anyone get an employee loan? A friend of mine says you can ask for one at any place of employment and they will deduct a certain amount out of every paycheck.

Not necessarily. Some employers might give you an advance, but it's not guaranteed. You might also put your boss or yourself in an awkward position, and this might affect your future relationship with the organization if they view your request for a loan as a sign of irresponsibility or poor money management on your part.
