No putting it in the bank or buying cd's or stocks or anything like that. You must spend it. Everything left after 3 days is taken back.

First I would pay off my house and pay up insurance for my mom and I would buy her a new car. Then I would buy my children homes and cars, pay up vet insurance for my pets... then move on to my sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles and so on making sure they have a place to live and automobiles and food and such.. .and if i have anything left I will move on to my friends to help them out.... anything left after that would go to purchase items needed for the local animal shelters and such....

Well, "maccie211" probably has the best answer. But I am gonna be honest with ya.... I don't think I would give it all to charity. I would help my siblings pay for college. My brother just got married so he is really poor (ha) so I would probably help him as well. And my sisters are both in college so they are really poor too, so I would help them out as well. But ya know... I still live with my parents so I don't need a house cause well, I am not old enough to like... not live with them. Well, I hope to get my drivers license soon, so maybe buy a car? But ya know... I don't think I would want a super nice car because then if I did crash it would be a big deal. So I think I would just go for a piece of junk and then crashing wouldn't bother me. But, then what is left I would give to charity or like... give to help find a cure for.... cancer or aids or something. Yeah, thats what I would do with it as of right now. But ya know... that could change very quickly. Good question though!

After bills and the normal things, like paying off my house and fixing it up and buying a car I didn't need?

I would call Sotheby's and see what cool over priced things they had up for auction and go shopping. I think their sales are mostly for items that would continue to appreciate.

That would give a way to "park" the money until I had time to come up with a better strategy for it. Then I'd put the items back up for auction.

I want a beach home and a boat, but you can't do that in 3 days without the potential to lose money.

I dont think it's possible to blow a million bucks in three days because everything that's expensive has to go through escrow. If not for that, I'd buy a house with the works, an Aston Martin, and if there was still money left, though I doubt it, I'd but an original Model-T. Hmm, might be more than a million...

I would buy 2 cars for our family, an adequate house, take care of all our other needs, pay off our debts, and then donate the rest of the money to help our church feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and give shelter to the homeless. (I already do the best I can in that area.)

I know. I know...I'm plain and boring. But I don't see the point in celebrating riches with meaningless material when there are so many hurting, ill, homeless people who just need someone to care enough to help them improve their lives.

A 100% wheelchair accessible 2 story house with a basement. I live in tornado country, so having the ability for my little sister to get herself into a basement in a hurry would be a huge thing. Also at least 2 brand new minivans with wheelchair lifts in them. A brand new top of the line wheelchair for little sis. A kickin' computer, stereo, and wall hanging-monster-size plasma screen for me. All the newest gadgets and gizmos for the house. That should kill $1,000,000 pretty fast.

First of all, I WOULD NOT give it to charity. I am my own charity. Everyone says they would do that, but do you really think they would follow through?

Here's what I would buy:

House, car, pay off bills and take a much needed vacation. I think the money would go quickly since the price of a home is already over half a mil.
